1976 - 2000Notable AchievementsDuring the next 25 years Villagers found it much harder to win the Grand Challenge as the rugby powerhouse that is Maties grew to prominence during this time. However Villagers did claim the title twice in 1979 (Shared with Maties) and finally in 1981.
