The second oldest rugby club in South Africa
Villager FC has a rich rugby heritage in this country. For almost a century and a half the club has produced the most open club Springboks, over 170 WP Representatives and won numerous titles.

The u20's showing their delight after receiving their new sponsored kit by CAD4ALL. The boys went on to record their first victory of the season. We look forward to many more victories during the season.

A happy bunch of guys after receiving their sponsored Astrix Data Jerseys. Thanks to Mr Dustan Corneliessen for the sponsorship. the 3rd team recorded their first win of the season beating St. Geroge's RFC 3rds 14-11.

During the next 25 years Villagers found it much harder to win the Grand Challenge as the rugby powerhouse that is Maties grew to prominence during this time. However Villagers did claim the title twice in 1979 (Shared with Maties) and finally in 1981. Other titles Villagers claimed during this period include the National Club Championship in 1980, the Lion Shield in 1989 as well as the Super League A title in 1997.![]()
